Beauty Crimes

I believe that, if you’re going to wear makeup, it should match with the clothes, jewelry, and shoes you will be wearing. It just doesn’t look right, if you don’t. For example, if you are going to wear red lipstick you should not wear eye shadow shades like green, blue,or orange. Especially if you have oily skin or dark skin tone. When it comes to feeling comfortable and confident in yourself, matching is a big deal. I am not saying that you can not  go wild with your makeup, but just do not over do it. Like you don’t want people to see only makeup, you want them to see a young confident girl who can do whatever she plans  to do in her life. Now lets talk about makeup mistakes. Mistake number one: Wrong Shade of Foundation. Using foundation on your face that doesn’t match the rest of your body is a rookie mistake. If you are going to take the time to apply it, make sure it matches and is properly blended. Another crime: Too Dark Lip liner. Wearing lip liner that is much darker than your lip color is never a good look. Crime number three:  Over-Bronzing. Too much bronzer can make your skin sun damaged. Also remember that when it comes to beauty, less makeup gorgeous, but more is tacky. Try avoiding these makeup crimes. Doing  this will help you highlight your natural beauty and make you look more beautiful everyday. Try bold and light colors like purple, green, brown, gold,or creamy shades that blend in with your makeup.  Wearing colors like those will make you look like you are even trying too hard. Wearing too much makeup on your face shows how much you try too hard. I know so many girls who look way better without too much makeup or any makeup at all.  To tell you the truth I have had bad makeup experiments.( Everyone has) But  that’s okay. For  new makeup beginners, try looking up makeup tutorials and practice as much as possible to improve your creative and beauty skills so you won’t have makeup mistakes. Now you know what not to wear.

  1. I love your blog. I love fashion myself so i like reading what you have to say. This is a good way to help teens be more confident in their selves. I would like to read more about your blog.-Kenna

  2. I think too many people tend to cover up their best features with too much makeup. Usually makeup can serve to highlight those good features, but not many people know how to properly do so. I think you’re right about people wearing the wrong foundation; it annoys me when women pile on makeup and it’s clearly visible along their jawline because it doesn’t match the skin tone of their neck. Above all, I think confidence and inner beauty are what highlight a person’s features more than makeup ever can.
